I'm very pleased with the Dolby ATMOS movie play back of my system now. Just watched Godzilla King of monsters in 4k ATMOS and was very impressed. The Motion FX, Electro Motion R and the older electrostats blend very well together. I may add another set of IC just to fill the 3D space a bit better.

Nice to hear Cherian, and yes, more overheads = better soundfield.

Atmos soundtracks really have an amazing sense of space compared to regular 'surround', the sounds do not need to be placed high, yet the sense of positioning is more accurate in terms of 3D space.

Have you had a chance to listen to a AURO 3D system. At CEDIA last year I got to listed to this format and found it more immersive than ATMOS. Have you had a chance to listen to this format?
