Beautifull "spring" morning here in SE Pa, listening to Harry Chapin this morning, "Sniper" - the original studio recordings of "Circle" and "A Better Place to Be" , Harry's favorite of all he wrote.

Leonard Cohen
I'm Your Man on DVD
Must have DVD for any Leonard Cohen fans:musicnote:

I have some audio cafine playing right now:

Slipnot - Surfacing.

Oh, it just shuffled to audio breakfast:

Fats Waller - All that Meat and No Potatoes

Got a late Christmas present from my brother in law - St. Germaine "Boulevard" on vinyl. One of the most obvious examples I now have of the vinyl version simply blowing away the CD version. Great pressing! Think live and sampled Jazz House Trance. Very cool for a mellow winter morning...

We are in the midst of an ice storm in North Texas so I have broken out my trusty Telarc of Papa Doo Run Run's California Project-covers of beach music and summer fun!

Sunday Morning With Bob....

It's very cold here in Calistoga, California, what with this Alaskan blast of cold we are receiving this fine Sunday morning... Good time to spend it with an old friend Bob... ;)

Bitter Cold here in Denver as well (Minus 2 and snowing pretty hard right now). Been warming my soul this morning first with Miles Davis "Porgy and Bess", followed by Ahmed Abdul-Malik "East Meets West" and finally The Flaming Lips "At War With the Mystics" all on new vinyl I picked up downtown at Twist and Shout yesterday. Very Cozy when soothed by these sweet sounds and the warm glow of tubes!

Stayed up too late last night tweaking the turntable, but awoke early this am to reap the rewards of my efforts! Right now its Dido, No Angel-the 200 gm version. Wow!

New America CD

I'm now listening to the new America CD I bought yesterday. 2 CDs, one of 12 new songs, the other a live set of old favorites. This one looks to be a keeper! It's called Here and Now-issued in 2006 but I must have missed the release.
