It was my rear right that had the bad panel. We did not do any HT listening so no one could tell the rear right was a few db low.

I did not change all 4 just 2. The new panels are up front now. The new panels sound very bright. I hope as time goes by they will become less bright.

I had a great time yesterday. It is always a good time to hangout and listen to new music and talk shop.

We wanted to listen to Volta live this morning. NPR was supposed to broadcast it live last night from Bjork's NY concert and then have an mp3 download. But it appears the download isn't ready yet. So its either listen to it streamed in windows media on the crappy laptop speakers or wait. We'll wait.

Burke, good afternoon. If you send me your address I'll burn you a copy of the "Stormy Weekend" as I'm listening to it now, and we can swap for some other that you might have and I don't.
I didn't know there were that many Moody Blues fans here. I thought the "A Night at Red Rocks" was great, done about 15 years ago. My wife's favorite concert was when they were in my area with the Virginia Symphony, but the concert in Madison Square Garden about 30 years agao was my favorite.

I don't have this on plain CD so nothing to compare it to. And since you have this CD you know her voice on this album is a shadow of what it was earlier in her career. On the SACD version Billie's voice is completly all out of the center channel. When I first heard this album I didn't care for it, but it's grown on me over the years. I haven't listened to it in a quite sometime and just pulled it out this morning.

I love this album. You are right about her voice, but her emotional investment (which always dwarfed her spectacular voice) peaks on this album IMO. I don't know how to describe it, but I think its her best work if not her best singing. Too bad you don't have the CD too, I wonder what the sacd might bring out that the cd can't.
