I Love that Rack As Well...

Love that rack!
risabet,

It is kinda - sorta totally high tech... This Audio Equipment Rack - presents extremely well. I venture a conservative guess that this particular Audio Equipment Rack probably costs at least $10,000.00 (USD). I believe the brown paint is powder-coated on to the metal framing of this particular high-end Audio Rack. I think because of the mobile / swivel action of the fold-up legs adds incredibly to this High-End - Audio Rack. The individually mounted, vibration sensitive legs adds to the sound quality of the very expensive ARC gear and really vastly improves sound of the system. In addition, the low mass of the Audio Rack - it self generally adds to the listening qulity of each of the individual very expensive "Audio Reseach" components gracing the exquistly designed audio-engineered single floating audio shelf. For an excellent example - the high quality brown wood grain flormica used in the fabrication is simply phenominal build / application quality construction. This Audio Rack most definiatly contributes to the low desortion and reduced vibration charactoristics of the individual Audio Research ~ Preamp and Source themselves thus dramatically and vastly improving the sound imaging for the Odyssey ML speakers. The source also is improved due to the jitter free environment the Audio Rack provides and vastly improves the listening pleasure. I have found, this kind of very high quality, pression engineered ~ Audio Equipment Rack, such as this one is totally rare and more of the exception, more than the rule when considering "Martin Logan Super Systems" as well as really hard to find in audio world. Believe me I have looked... IMHO, it takes real attention to audio detail and audiophile knowledgible of audio equipment - dynamics / interactions to know & appreciate those interections / simbiosis of high-end audio electronic equipment to understand that gear placed on a superior, high quality Audio Rack (as above) can produce even better, higher quality sound as well as completely positively impact to the sound stage of any ML Super system and sound environment.

If I save-up long enough maybe, just maybe, I will be able to afford an Audio Equipment Rack like the one above in the distant future but only if I am very lucky and live the audio dream...:D

Robin, you are in luck. I saw an audio rack just like this, or at least a very good copy, the other day at Costco for only $39.99. I suggest you beat feet down there right away to pick up on this super deal before they are all gone like the Costco Summits! Hurry!;)

Tim,

I don't know if I can purchase just another Costco "knock-off", "Wanna-be" Audio Equipment Rack... I require the real thing i. e., total high-end or nothing. I have my standards... I have my pride... I am willing and ready to pay 10K for real true quality craftsmanship. I just know they are selling these same Audio Racks in the high-end stores and that is what I am striving for... :D Color me audio-fickle. It is just my high standards... :D

Another Amazing Ascent / Theater ML System...

:band: OMG, yet another wonderful Ascent / Theater HT system...:bump:

HI Robin,
Personally I admire your taste and values. It seems to me that one should not spend more on their racks than the equipment. While you are clearly on the hairy edge, I think the balance works. ;)

Sparky,

Why Thank you for your understanding my Audio Rack values... You knopw currently I have a Omni Rack, similar to Tom (Webmaster/ President) who also owns an Omni rack as well. I am now seriously considering the brown folding rack above... I don't care if it costs 10K... Money be damned... I just want the very best, well you know... Actually a lot of folks understand this concept, I know Joey does... Also that Greek gentleman with the spring loaded Audio Rack, in sleepysurf's excellent video thread, he understands...:p
