Like this model. Has anyone heard it? Its $13k. I'm thinking it probably doesn't sound very good, and we could put together a system sounding much better for less. Has anyone heard it?
I know someone that's serious about buying one. They don't know much at all about hi-fi. She's an older lady that's wanting some good listening from records.
It is indeed a nice compact no thinking required listening solution, but is it worth $13k? I'm thinking she could do better for what it costs. She's into aesthetics though, and loves this look.
Maybe with some guidance she could easily outperform this console?

lol .Yeah, that's what I figure. I do like to be objective though and try to base my judgement on real life experience. I search online but can't find any real objective analysis of the console. Everything I find seems to more or less be like an advertisement.
