The giant isopod, known scientifically as Bathynomus giganteus, is the largest known member of the isopod family. It is very closely related to the small pillbugs that you can find in the garden......................When threatened, the can roll themselves into a tight ball where they are protected by their strong, armor-plated shells. They have complex mouths that contain many components that work together to pierce, shred, and disembowel live or dead prey. Giant isopods are all over the world at depths of over 2000 feet.

This was sent to me by another member, who is bashful to post, I guess. A driftwood turntable. Any guesses on burn-in time? Perhaps the wood is pre-aged ? :D

I think I see a Guards Red Turbo(whale-tale too) down the road ! ? But why is the picture have to have a water-cooled auto in it?
I like the 928 and love the 911, I think the 356 is even better in a funky way.

The 928 guys fed me and gave me a drink even though I was driving an air cooled VW (Porsche 911).:D

That driftwood/marbled wood turntable is awesome. I have had something in mind similar but not so free form for quite a while now.

I LOVE 928's...bet you couldn't tell by my handle though huh?! ;) I like 911's too! Some day I will add a 996/997 Twin Turbo to the collection...

That 928 is VERY NICE, I would take it in a heartbeat.

You should see all the sad faces in 911's when I whip them on the track like a red headed step child! Old 928 with an automatic transmission being driven by a poor handicapped guy! HA HA! :rocker:

Must be a special track with real long straight aways. I know the 944 turbos raise heck and step on many 911 toes.

LOVE the pic...it fooled me for a bit. I thought it was some guys from Iraq and the dead squirrel had been photo shopped in but then I realized it was G.I. Joe's on and the dead squirrel. FUNNY!

Oh, yea, the tracks that I can get after the 911's on are longer tracks. The really tight stuff is Boxster/911 territory. 951's can be REALLY FAST! I have ALWAYS liked 951's!

Pictures I took at the 12th Annual 2008 Ypsilanti ORPHAN CAR SHOW Sunday, June 1, 2008 Riverside Park............showed up a little late, this car was on the trailer already. Aluminum body, smaller and lighter than a Speedster and looking very cute - love that tail and those eyes.
