RSR Porsche Club picnic, last year we had three or four times the turn out. No one knew why it was so small this year.

This might be the most expensive car I've ever taken a picture of.

Probably low turn out because the economy is down. That tends to slow everything down...not to mention the price of gas is WAY UP so some folks just don't go places they don't HAVE to go to!

That said it was a pretty good turn out for the Ferrari club breakfast yesterday. Probably 13 or 14 F-cars (from an old late 50's early 60's 12 cy. car to a Dino to a bunch of 308's, 355's, and 360's, NO 430's, 599's or TR's, one 456) 5 928's, 1 SI E-type Jag, 1 AM Vanquish S!

Nice ride, they start practicing for MotoGP very young in Japan. Check out this race from two weeks ago at Leguna Seca. This is Red Bull Rookie Cupfrom for 13 to 16 year olds race. Watch from 3 minute mark, you will not believe what you will see.

Summer Pond

Not sure if anyone is interested or not, but I have now posted all season pics on the backyard pond. I wish I knew how to put all the post together on this thread but I don't. Just remembered I think I missed the fall pic. That would be coming up here fast in beautiful Illinois.

nice pictures doug! i like the more natural pond settings myself although the oh so very square, oh so veddy british ponds also have their appeal.

i've done a couple of ponds myself, and had plans for a big one in my current house, but 14 years later and i'm getting ready to sell and still no pond

hmmmm i just did a google and a couple of my old articles in rec.ponds are still floating about. pun intended.

Yes, we do have a lot of car and bike lovers onboard here, but also there are some of us that get into other things...such as garden/koi ponds
