Correct 110%! Not only that, the CLX's will easily surpass that era in every angle.
Not many have actually auditioned a properly set-up CLX based system. Most have either experienced them in shows or one form or another, not in private settings. They base their assumptions on those brief encounters, calling them bass-less, difused etc...

Goes to show, how far the ML design team had evolved with this superior design. It's a damn shame they're no longer made. One of kind electrostats ever made.
