Good news and bad news.

The good news is that the bat arrived today and is perfect. Its just getting warmed up and already the difference is amazing. Things are more focused, the Logans are more transparent, and the digital edge has really been taken down quite a few notches. Once I get some time with this I will post a better review but so far so good.

To my suprise this unit already had tube dampers that look like the ones Jeff linked me to, so that was a nice bonus.

Now for the bad news. I need to buy an audio rack and I am going to get nothing done today:D .
D....A... M... N! That's one heck of a 2ch setup! I like it!

What about the TV? It's so high up.... maybe you should get one of them cable/wall arms that allow you to reposition the TV if you're going to watch it and you can bring the TV a little more forward and down a bit lower.

I think I need to see a doctor about this joey-itis thing. I spoke with my dealership today and another upgrade may be in the works. My original plan was to use my Vistas in a HT setup with a powered sub but as you can see I bought a pair of Aerius i's for that job. Now the Vistas are in a dedicated 2-channel setup. They sound great but with no sub I am kinda lacking in the low-end. So the next step up may be a set of Vantages. I can probably do this without losing any money on the Vistas and considering I really dont want a sub in this system I think this route would be a great bang for the buck type of thing.
On another note I was able to put the spikes on the wood floor by using some metal spike pads I got on ebay. They work great and yes there is an improvement with getting the speakers off of the floor a little.

You just plain know that you will be getting a pair of Vantages and a subwoofer - who are you thinking you're gonna fool ? :D

Skip the sub just get the Summits they go down into the 20s without problem. No sub required:D

If I get a new sub it will be for the HT system. No summits now, that would cost me another $3-4k.
