I want to upgrade and need help?

Those guys are really nice and professional. Since they are not working for a commission you'll get some really solid advice and choices built around your system. That said, that store does carry some very pricey gear so make sure you listen to a lot different amps at various price points and take your time.

Thanks everyone for their help and advice. Hopefully I will be posting some new pics of a new amp in my setup on Sunday. I feel like a little kid, all crazy before christmas morning. The wife said she can't wait to go either; shes bringing a book to read. Go figure.

Agree!!!

Make sure you get a chance to listen to amps in a higher price range just to get a feel for what is out there. It does not mean you are going to buy it, it is just a way to expand your audio knowledge and experiences.

Are you just going to listen to amplifiers, or are you going to listen to processors too??? Looking for an all in one product like a receiver or are you looking to go separates with a processor and an amplifier?

I see Overture carries Yamaha, so it would be good to have them hook up a Yamaha receiver similar to your model for a comparison.

Don't forget to bring your movies, videos, music etc which you are VERY familiar with for listening.

Thanks Dan, I wouldn't have thought of that. I will have to remember to bring that stuff with me. My plan is to look at separates. They say they don't have my Yamaha in stock but they said they would get close to it. Thanks again Dan you have been a big help to me with my system all around.

They have a good collection of music on hand, but, yes, bring your own stuff for sure.
