Hi all, I think Im finally moving into the world of ML and would like some advice from the salty dogs. Ive owned Magnepan's and Apogee's before so in some sense I know what Im getting myself into.. My new space is a fairly large loft with 16 foot ceilings.. Im looking at the aerius i and the sequel II's, any advice on which is superior? I'm not overly concerned with bass as I have a large sub.. I will be powering with a Jolida 502A 60wpc pure tube, I may add some power as needed. Do the sequel IIs have high range dynamics as good as the aerius i or are they more like large original aerius?

Also the Aerius i's Im looking at have a pic of the back like this..

am I crazy or are those Aerius's? (no i)

Many thanks for any help

the panels on the Sequels are considerably larger than the Aerius, so right there my vote is to get the Sequels.

I'm pretty sure those are the Aerius wiht optional (at the time) biamp posts.

Aerius i.

I'd go with the Sequel II, anyway, but especially since the Aerius seems maybe suspicious.

yeah that confirms the way i was leaning, Ill probably replace with SL3 panels too. Total cost is a little more then I wanted to spend but Im afraid putting Aerius in my new pad would be the sonic equivalent of throwing a hotdog down a hallway.

Im still not sure if the space is a sonic dream or nightmare, Ill let you guys know how it turns out.
