Aeon vs Quest ?

Hi, i'm looking for advice from the experts here . I own a pair of Quests. I think they sound great (altough too much low for the room i'm living in). I use two rotel 970 amplifiers. Should I go for Aeon instead ?

I would buy a parametric EQ and tame the room modes. It would be a lot cheaper than getting Aeons.

Hola djsmit. I would suggest ou to check the panels of your Quest. It looks that your are having more bass than mids and highs. Sometimes a panel wash will restore them...why don't you give it a try? Before you do the washing procedure, please contact first Jim Power. He is the service manager of ML. Explain to him your problem and report your serial numbers. He will tell you what to do better.
