The Koi go into a sort of hibernation. The pond is 11 feet deep at its deepest point so there is no danger of ice getting to them. Here is a pic of some of the herd.

Anyone here see Avatar? I've seen it twice, once in I-Max 3D. All I can say is if you haven't seen it and like science-fiction (or maybe even if you don't) see it you will not be disappointed with the entertainment value. Doug - out
