Ran into this guy...

Went to Austin Guitars today, to put a few guitar amps on consignment and ran into this guy. He was there testing out a guitar amp that he purchased. Steve, the guy who runs Austin Guitars and another guy all did a little impromptu jam with this guy and I took a couple of phone pics. This is my sister-in-law giving him a hug. Who is this guy?

Yep. Turned out to be a really nice guy and he plays a pretty good blues guitar.

That's the truth. I saw him a few years ago jamming with Les Paul at Les' jazz bar in NYC. What an incredible show! Jimmy was hotter than fire. Les was in his mid-to-late eighties, but still kept up with JV no problem.

No, I didn't play bass, Steve, the owner of Austin Guitars played bass. I just listened and watched.

Ha ha, you wish! You're employed now! If you need an amp, go on down to Austin Guitars and I'll talk my sister in law to sell you one for cheap. We took three down there to sell on consignment. We also took a mixing console. If you need that, let me know, we can practically give it to you.
