    MORE Isolation Feet?

Your dealer should supply them. But if not, then you can request directly from Focal/Naim, just supply them your order info. They are shipped separately, and at no cost, no matter who supplies them.

    Atmos Ceiling Speakers

Couple things about placement and off-axis. Yes, being able to angle the speakers helps a lot and makes them more enjoyable. This is something I have been able to easily accomplish with mounting speakers onto the ceiling vs being flush with the ceiling. My ceiling is my roof, it's a cathedral...

    Atmos Ceiling Speakers

I've been using 4i speakers for Tops for the last few years now. They work, but I must say that I only used them because I already had them. The 4i speakers are what I used when I went from 3.1 to 5.1, then to 7.1. Then I got better speakers for Surrounds and moved the 4i speakers to the ceiling...

    ESL high end

Yes. As the impedance drops in the upper frequency range, the SPL of the upper frequencies will drop as an amplifier struggles with the low impedance. Attached is a comparison of three amps driving a ML 13A speaker. Two amps double in power from 8Ω to 4Ω and have no trouble maintaining power as...

    ESL high end

For our electrostatic speakers, amplifiers make a difference in the upper frequency ranges. Some amps can make the speakers sound harsh, and some amps have trouble in the upper frequency ranges so the high frequencies get rolled off very early. So, what amplification are you running with your ESLs?

    MORE Isolation Feet?

hmmmmmm, . . . . . Is it possible that some portion of the plastic shipping foot is broken off and stuck in there? A skinny screwdriver or pick could confirm if the depth of the pocket matches the others.

    Sedentary

I agree. So I just took my F1 car for a spin on the PS5. But seriously, I also have an exercycle in my room. It's an old hand-me-down LifeCycle from when a friend moved over a decade ago and couldn't take it with him. It was old then, but it still works. The new ones are quite a bit better, but...

    SANDERS AMPS PRICE DROP !

That is quite a drop in price! I've been very happy with my current amp, but have always wondered about Sanders. I came close to ordering one a few weeks ago but kept myself from clicking on the order button in favor of some more important things needing immediate attention. But once the dust...

    MORE Isolation Feet?

I also tried washing machine rubber pads which did little to nothing on my hardwood floor (with basement below). I bought GAIA feet expecting the same dismal result, but they made a very noticeable difference so I kept them and bought more for my subs which also had benefits - mostly from...

@denali that is very good info to have from ML, thank you!

    Impression 11A in the house

This is what I got when I did a bunch of measurements to create an Impedance Plot for one of my 13A speakers. Looks pretty similar except for the 3K bump.

    Impression 11A in the house

Well, what about subwoofers with Speaker Level Inputs? I believe that it's the same situation. The amplifier for the speaker isn't also driving the subwoofer. It somehow turns into just a signal going to the subwoofer and not the subwoofer showing up as a load to the speaker amp.

    Sequal MK 1 Vs Vista

I've owned Vista before, but haven't heard Sequels. Looking at photos, the distance between the spars on the panels looks to be greater on the Sequel, so I wonder if this lends it to sounding "bigger" ? Plus, the Sequel is twice the weight of the Vista, which probably also affects the sound.

New here but not to ML/Amp Upgrades Rec ?

From the Sanders web site for the Magtech amp. Magtech Amp Here's a quote from near the top of that page: " The popularity and success of the Electrostatic Amplifier (the "ESL Amp") for driving electrostatic speakers led to many requests for a companion amplifier that was specifically designed...

New here but not to ML/Amp Upgrades Rec ?

Welcome @Mia_G! As @VideoVic just posted, the Rotels don't like low impedances. I really wanted to buy a Rotel about a dozen or so years ago, but when I contacted Rotel and mentioned the ML speakers I had just purchase they said it wouldn't be a good match. Anything below 4Ω is not what the...

    MORE Isolation Feet?

Yeah, I guess I forgot to post that photo in this thread, but I did post it in another thread. Here it is showing the GAIA II on the Expression using the Long Thread (this is what they're called), and GAIA III on the subwoofer with the adapters that come in the box. Here's a comparison of...
