As a music and gear lover we can often get caught up sitting in front of our set up's for hours and hours.
One thing i just noticed that happened recently was weight gain. I'm literally sitting on my couch all the time.
I did just get a exercise bike that's going to help. We need to move around a bit.

I agree. So I just took my F1 car for a spin on the PS5.

But seriously, I also have an exercycle in my room. It's an old hand-me-down LifeCycle from when a friend moved over a decade ago and couldn't take it with him. It was old then, but it still works. The new ones are quite a bit better, but this does get me moving.

Perhaps somebody will cobble together a small cycling machine/generator that creates enough electricity to power one of our components, thereby forcing us to be physically active while sitting in the "sweet spot."

Something like this...

For me it’s a warm weather cold weather thing, during the warm weather I don’t listen to my system anywhere near as much as I do during the long Michigan winter season. I stay busy rebuilding my classic Chevy that’s 55 years old, just got it this summer and it had basically zero interior in it so that’s been the effort this summer (see before and after shots)
Now with winter approaching I’ll have to find some rebuilding of systems I can do in the house while the system gets a workout😂

I mostly listen to music playing board games with my wife. I can't sit still in front of my speakers for extended periods. I just can't.

I just put on some danceable music and get up and move. Booka Shade in Atmos and Yello - Point (also in Atmos) are great ones for that.

I'd take sedentary over sedimentary, as the latter more or less refers to fossilized rocks, which us aging audiophiles are essentially turning into anyways. 😁
I thought probe just liked rock music. 🤷‍♂️
LoL, @probe I've updated the thread title to Sedentary, which I think you were going for before some auto-correct got 'helpful'.
