Would Vantages be considered a two way or three way speaker?

I am not even sure if electrostatic speakers are labeled as such, but I am investigating different speaker cables, some of which are meant to be used with two way speakers and another meant to be used with three way speakers. The cables are acoustic zen holograms or satori shotguns.
This is probably a novice question, but I just want to be sure.

2-way. What makes these cables so specific that they can only be used with a 2- or 3- speaker?? Is one bi-wire and the other tri-wire?

Thanks for the replies. Niether one is tri-wire. Either one can be bi-wired. For some reason ( and I am no cable expert) the hologram is designed for two way speakers and the satori is for multi way. I believe it is a difference in guage and they claim to be customizeable to certain speakers.

I have read on Audiogon forums that they are basically the same but voiced for different speakers. Members there claim to have ordered their cables specific to the speakers that they have.

My personal opinion is that you are about to waste good money on cables with a bad price/performance ratio.

I would be buying them used for about 60% of the listed price. I am also considering nordost red dawn.
What would you recommend?

The Vantage manual says bi-wire is unecessary. I assume this is due to the fact that Vantage is already bi-amped. I would spend my money on the best single wire I could.

I am a little skeptical about the supplied jumpers. They just dont seem very high quality.
Signal cables look pretty interesting. They just are not the look I was going for. I prefer black. Of course sound is the most important factor, but I am looking for a "complete" product.
I am glad I posted.

BTW, my cable of choice, as noted in the thread, Signal Cable Ultra......and it's cheap, realtively speaking !

Sorry, I just realized you said the Signal Ultra which is black. I was looking at the silver resolution. Very interesting.

I have several Signal Cables, all good, but no Signal speaker cables. The other manufacturer of reasonable inexpensive but seriously good looking cables is Zebra Cables. This link points to their top of the line speaker cable - effectively 7 awg, 4' for $92 per pair, good specs.

I purchased 2 pair of silver resolution balanced interconnects from signal cable with one pair reversed polarity. Frank made one color white and the other black so if color is an issue there might be options.

BTW they sound great. I am considering their speaker cables.

The possibility of having custom cables made without extra cost (other than material) is a big benefit of Signal Cable. My Silver Resolutions have Silver Bullets on the pre-amp side, XLRs on the amp side. That way I don't need RCA-to-XLR adapters.

However, my favorite Signal interconnect is the stock single ended Analog Two.

Curious: why the polarity reversal?
