i have a pair of scripts and SL3's I would like your opinon on which one i should use for the rear channels, I have a 7.1 setup. i am presntly using the scripts in the rear and have been thinking of using the SL3's instead. the room size is 11'4" wide and 23' deep, and 8' high. I cannot use the scripts on the sides because of space restrictions. thanks

Hola... usually the info is more at the surround channels than the back surround. Sl-3 for surround and Scripts for back surround. Happy listening,
R.

ML/rears

Roberto as i mentioned in my thread is i cannot mount the scripts
on the side's because of space limitations, the Sl3's would be worse to work in. any other suggestions?

Read me again, SL-3 for surrounds, and Scripts for back surround. Perhaps I am not understanding your question, are you not going to use the Scripts at all? The surround info is stereo, back surround is mono, right? Use the SL-3 as surround and keep the Scirpts where you are able to mount them.

I don't think you state here what you are currently using for your sides surrounds. You state it's not the scripts (and can't be the scripts due to mounting), you also state you're considering using the SL3s in the rear (but it would be difficult to work them in as sides as well). But it's still not clear what you are using for the sides. Roberto is simply stating that ideally, if you could use scripts for rear and SL3s for sides, that would be a safe bet.

Can you more specifically describe all the speakers in your setup?

Thanks
