risabet,

 ;) I am sure the owner of this BAT VK P 10 Phono Pre Amp has placed his amp up-side-down for better ventilation...

It's not upside down - notice how you can read all of the lettering on the faceplate (mentioned this the other day). What everyone is thinking are feet are actually Mpingo or someone elses damping pucks to eliminate chassis vibrations.

I do the same thing on many of my components with the Bright Star equivalent...

:) Beautiful. Exspensive. Von Gaylord Uni - "liquid cooled" - tube amplifiers... Only $59,000 (USD) each...

This takes the cake as far as audiophile craziness goes. Liquid cooled amps, seriously! I saw/heard these at the Stereophile show and, while they sounded pleasant enough, the whole idea is ludicrous.

Yeah Baby !!!! Give us the lowdown both now as well as after you have some hrs on her.

BTW, may I suggest you clean the lens on your camera, either that or you have one dirty looking brand new amp !!

Good Luck, happy listening !!! who cares if it rains all weekend !!

Imagine owning a 300B tube-driven amplifier where you NEVER have to replace the tube**

Edison Effect ?

Coupled with novel output load mirroring circuitry?

I'll have to read up on it later.:)

Does the top open so you can feed the fish?

"So... what you got running your speakers? What's your amp?"

"Gaylord."

"Gaylord?"

"Yes.... Gaylord."

I dunno why I found that amusing, someone should slap me.

:)

Gaylord Advantage...

Craig,

I think having a aqua-tubed amplifier would keep listening cool as a grotto by the sea, at $60,000 anyone would need some cool listening. :D

Audio Fantastic Amplifier....

Here's an unusual beautiful tubed amplifier, I give you the Audio Fantastic WE300B for your consideration... :D
