Sonic Frontier Line 2 preamp
Digital:
Sony 9000ES CD SACD
Oppo 83 Muti format player
Arragon DAC
Rega PS3 turntable with Shure V15 cartridge
Potel phonoamp
Accessories:
Light Speed conditioner
Cardas + MIT speaker cables
Audio Quest + Transparent + HD Labs
My first panel speaker was a pair of Magnapan MG-1, not as coherent as I would like. I replaced them with MGIIIa after 2 years, and the sound stage opened up tremendously. I got hooked by dipole speaker ever since.
I'm quite happy with the whole set up, using PL to drives the low end, SF drives both mid- hi frequency. The latest addition are a pair of DYI- 60"
ribbon dipole tweeters, rated at 40kHz, still tweaking the cross over.
Now I can hear the higher notes better, instruments are more define.
Overall the additions work for me.:music:
