My Name: Pierre Portebois
Location: Paris France
ML Model: Source
Year Purchased: 2008
no modification or change at the moment
Associated electronics:
Amps: YBA YA 201, 2x 100 W Rega Audio & speaker cables.
Cd player: YBA YC 201
Tuner: YBA AT201
Turntable: Systemdek Model II with a Denon DL103 and a NAD PP2 phono preamp.
story: I wanted for a long time to change my 20 year old system, and the recent emergence of chinese low cost tube amps almost made me fall for a pair of Klipsch.
But I read some very nice impressions about YBA ( a french brand that exits for 25 years now, named from its founder, Yves Bernard André) and the debut product range recieved many awards from all over the world (www.ybadesign.com).
the store that I choosed to listen to them offered to plug a pair of ML source and the revelation came. when the dealer annouced the price, by decision was made. and it has been hours of lestening pleasure since then.
