summit protection?

would a ups protect my summits from a ac electrical blackout or power surge? my bass amps have been damaged several times and i need something to protect them! if so which kind should i get?

An AC electrical blackout alone is unlikely to damage your electronics.
But a power surge for sure will.
A UPS has built-in power surge protection, but it is overkill and much more expensive.
Plenty of surge protectors on Amazon, for instance that one.
Note that ALL THE ELECTRONICS connected to your loudspeakers must be protected (sources, amplifiers, ...).
