Does anyone own one or ever heard one? I have a chance to purchase one locally and want to hear feedback. I currently own a X-250 with Summits.

I have a friend who Actively Tri-Amps his speakers and uses one for the tweeters. He replaced a Monarcy amp with it and absolutely loves it. So if you are looking for a smooth sounding on the high end amp, this is definitely one to get.

Not the ultimate amp if looking for power, but sound quality should be superb.

Here is a review of the amp in case you have not read it:

Aleph 30

I have owned an Aleph 30 for about 2 years. It is a great sounding amp that seems much more powerful than the 30 watts/channel rating. Very smooth, almost tube-like sound. I can listen for hours without fatigue, but it needs about an hour to sound at its best. Gets HOT, so you need lots of space around it. Best part is that if you have questions, you can ask Nelson Pass at www.diyaudio.com in the Pass Forum section (where people build Pass designs at home).

I bought it. We'll see how it sounds tonight...

It looks pretty. I'm listening to the X-250 now. I just haven't had a chance to try it.:( Racecars first then stereo.....need to make money to support this drug.

I will let you know soon.

are you driving race cars? I was down your way last November at Virginia International Raceway driving my track car..
