We're in the middle of a room redecoration and I ended up with an ML Cadence soundbar and Dynamo 700w sub, which I installed yesterday. Compromise between buying a high end soundbar, vs arguing for wall mounted 5:1 speakers with the wife
Now, one of the features that led me down this path was ARC - I have a 300sq/ft family room with peaked 14' ceilings, and wanted to tune the system.
But, I've ran through the ARC process 5 or 6 times now, and each time, I get awful sound. Mids are missing, sub is horribly muddy. Simply switching it off in the app improves the quality 10 fold.
Am I simply hitting a common problem, or should I run through this tuning process more times to see if I can get improvements?
