New Aerius I Owner

I just picked up[ a set pof Aerius I that have had very little use on them. I will be running some high power tube monos on them (Stereo Knight M-100)

Does ML still make the wooden panels for these (might want to trade my black ones for some red ones from time to time)

I realize these are not the pinnacle of ML speakers but they fit my room well , and quite frankly I am scared to try any larger ones from fear of liking the too much and then my room would just be audio no furniture.


I plan on modding these

cap change (just dont know what voltage to get)
and the other mods recomended.


How do you know when the panel needs to be replaced? and about how long do they last?

Welcome to the club! Can't help much on the Aerius questions, maybe some other owners will chime in.

Panels can last 15-20 years when treated with TLC! You can unplug your speakers, let the caps discharge and then vacuum the panels. I believe we have a thread about washing the panels as well, use the search function.
