In general, the newer ML's, which Clarity is one, do require huge amounts of power/current to produce adequate sound.
What about rack mount amps as a thought because of their small profile. Of course there are trade-offs too with this kind of amp.
Are you looking to downsize because of lack of real estate or wanting to put these in cabinets? I know there may be another option and that may be to purchase a low cost and quiet fan to move more air around your amps too.
