Ok this is my first thread here, and it will seem like an odd one to some.
But here is my query. I am deciding between the Summits and Wilson Sophias. I love the electrostats for most music. However on some of the older models, they didnt quite cut it for me on some of the heavier stuff I like to listen to sometimes. Metallica, Godsmack, Tool, System of a Down, Korn, etc....
Of course this wont be the only deciding factor for me, but I am curious to hear from some Xstat owners (especially Summit) about how they handle this kind of music.
FYI, amps I am considering are Krell KAV-400xi, Classe CA2100/2200, Musical Fidelity A 3.5 and A5 integrated amps, Rotel RB-1092 (or 2 x 1091), Anthem P2.
