Hello. I've just signed up having finally purchased a pair of dealer demo Aerius i's with new stat panels installed (they've got ClearSpar etc). I've long lusted after Logan's having heard them at a dealer's but for a variety of reasons wasn't able to make that dream come true till recently when this opportunity presented itself. I came into the hobby though home theater and that's still an interest but 2 channel has always been my muse.

I have been a moderator on various AV forums since 1998 and now administer the discussion board for a custom installation company based out of Chicago. By trade i'm a GIS Specialist (ie computer mapping nerd) but also do custom AV installs on the side...mostly hanging flat panels, installing inwall/ceiling speakers and programming remotes etc...its my toy fund With my tech back ground I've got an insatiable apatite for information on gear so forums like this are great and I'll be reading as much as I can to get upto speed on ML's and their history etc.

Anyway this site looks friendly and well run and i'm looking forward to soaking up the shared knowledge until such time I can contribute back to the group!

Long time no see. Well we've all come such a long way since Club Rotel and Nextlevel. Nice to see you aboard here, and I for one hope to see you posting often. Your wisdom and experience is a great addition wherever you go!

Andrew is a very humble guy...Unlike most of us
For those of you who don't know Andrew as well as I do...let me tell you something about this guy.... Andrew created and was head moderator for a Forum called "Club Rotel" on another BB. Club Rotel received many acolades including the most visited AV Forum anywhere in either 2003 or 2004, I forget which.
and whatever you do....Don't call him Andy!
