Going from bi-wire to two wires..?!

Hi. I was wondering something in regard to bi-wired speakers and single wired speakers. If I replaced my bi-wired Aerius i speakers with The Source speakers (which are single wired I believe)...could I run both sets of wires from the amps two output posts to both go into the ONE input post on the Sources? Or, is this a no-no? In other words, should I disconnect one set of wires.. or just run both combined into the Sources one post? What would sound better, or which would damage anything? Or, would it matter at all? -Bob.

You can run both to one post on the speaker without damaging anything. Will it make any difference? This is definitely a case of "suck it and see".

Thanks Bernard. I would prefer to do that.. just because it is easier to leave both sets connected to the amp...and feed into one set at the speakers. -Bob.

I had done this with my CLS atone time with no problem at all. I do not believe there is an issue.
