Who is Fabio? Well, look him up. He's recently done some fun Old Spice commercials.

But, he's also an audio enthusiast, like us, but with more money than (most of) us.

Here's a reprint from Audio Video Interiors, November 1995, which, miraculously, was not chewed up by the Florida Palmetto Bugs.

Enjoy.

Don't know about other stuff but at least he has great taste for speakers :rocker:

From what I understand, he no longer has any of that gear, instead the last I read, he was collecting motorcycles. Way back in the '90's I read a review of his system and the reviewer said it was very powerful, but also very bright. Not what he would consider great sound. I believe that, just look at the environment, nothing but hard reflecting surfaces.

Did any of you guys see the episode of the tom green show when he goes to Fabio's house and keeps messing with his stereo and asking him how much he paid for it lmao. you have to see it

I notice people with money never have their systems set up good its just an Ego thing.

Well... Tom Green is a PITA.

And the motorcycles (at that time) were in the kitchen, thanks to the Tom Green video.

Disclaimer: I have Martin Logans, and Krells, and a motorcycle (in the garage), so i can't help have some affinity for a similar soul.

"When manufacturers work directly with celebrities, the experience is often less than wonderful for the company representatives. However, nothing could be further from the truth in Fabio's case. As Gayle Sanders of Martin Logan recalls, "I was a little hesitant at first because I thought he would be full of himself. But I found him to be very down-to earth, warm, sincere and knowledgeable."

There you have it, straight from L. Ron Hoover himself.

Ah a bit of nostalgia as this article came out about when I was just getting into this hobby (well at least just becoming aware of MLs!).

I remember the Logan dealer stating that Fabio had a huge ML system at his house and he was no doubt referring to this article.

Great Video. Tom was hilarious. What ever happened to him?

Actually, he (Fabio) did seem like a good sport with Tom Green.

Sound would bounce around that room like crazy. I can believe every single one of us would achieve better sound than would be possible there........

Man, I remember when that came out and thought the same thing I do now.. The reflections off all that marble must make that system sound like poop.

I actually subscribed to AV Interiors and had this issue, it was hi-fi porn!
