Hello everyone,

I just joined and had a quetion.
I'm buying a Theater center channel off some guy in the paper. He doesn't know if it's a Theater or Theater i. He seems kind of oblivious, so I want to direct him to look on the back of the speaker and find out which one it is.
Can some one tell me for sure if the "i" is clearly marked on the back of the speaker. And can someone tell me where exactly the model number is located.
He is selling it for $1,000.00. If it's not an i model, is it still a good deal?

Thanks, Mike

Mike,
I have a Theater i and it's clearly marked Theater i right above the speaker wire terminals on the back of the speaker.

Even if its not a "i" $1000.00 is a very good deal. Good luck.

Out of curiosity what is a used Cinema worth? In excellent condition of course.

Remember if something sounds to good to be true, IT IS! Unless you know the person and are going to go pick it up, I would be VERY CAREFUL! Most of the Theater speakers go for right at $2k these days and Cinema are $1k (maybe $100 or so less on both of those), so a Theater at $1k would be a REAL FIND!
