Some of you may have seen the "Pipedreams" music machine computer animation, (being circulated by email), which is so realistic that some folks have actually claimed it's a real machine!

That video can be seen in it's entirety here... http://www.atomfilms.com/film/animusic_pipedream.jsp

The story behind the video, and it's creator Wayne Lytle (who also composes the music), is even more fascinating. You can read more about the process and order his Music Machine DVD's or CD's from his website... http://www.animusic.com

I just ordered both DVD's and subsequently received a coupon code for $2 off all purchases. The offer states it may be shared with family and friends. "This code HTJ is good for one use by each customer and is valid until January 31, 2007".

BTW, he's apparently working on a high def version for the next release.

Thanks for that reminder. I ordered both DVDs, too. Pipe Dream was also available as a free download at ati.com, as a demo program for Radeon 9800 graphics cards. It no longer runs because I upgraded to a X800 model. The DVDs will be fun. Also check out Starship Groove, http://www.atomfilms.com/film/animusic_starship.jsp

Waiting for 1080p versions...

Note: the site requires Internet Exploder. Neither Opera nor Firefox work for me.
