I did say "above-80 HZ frequencies." Please read my post again.

If you set it to large, you're sending it all frequencies and burying your sound in harmonic distortion because it flat out can't play low frequencies. If you set it to small with an 80hz xover (maybe even still lower than you should), you are not missing anything about 80 hz.

I am not trying to belabour this point. But that "harmonic distortion" that you mention surely sounds good to me with my Matinee.

Better than I would have suspected, but what, like ~15% THD at 30hz? And at only 65ish db. Probably sky high with the volume pushed up.
