Aeon panel only working sometimes!?

Hello

I have a set of Martin Logan Aeon tower speakers I bought new in 2002 That have been out of use for the past few years. When I plugged them in recently one worked great the other had no sound coming out of the panel (the woofer did).

Based on info I read this forum I decided to wash the panel to clean it from accumulated dust to my delight the panel worked and sounded great but after playing for 5 minutes or so the panel stopped! Now if I unplug the speaker overnight When I plug it in it'll do the same, play for 4-15 mins then the panel stops!

Anyone of any ideas or am I doomed to replace the panel

Hola. It looks that you have a power supply problem. Could be faulty contact somewhere too. But, my vote is the power supply. Contact ML service dept. They will guide you better to track your problem. Happy listening.

Roberto, you were correct it is the power supply on the circuit boad. I spoke with a ml service rep that helped me quickly diagnose the problem. Unfortunately the part is back ordered but everyone I delt with at ml was very helpful and nice. Thanks for the advice.
