We have been on a number of waiting lists for the last year for a Basenji puppy and finally brought one home yesterday. Her name is Sherwood's Late Harvest Napa Rain, but we call her Dolce. She is named for the late harvest dessert wine from the Napa valley also referred to as 'Liquid Gold". She is a perfect dog to have as a listening partner, cause Basenji's don't bark and instead they make sweet little chortle & yodel when they are happy.
