ta set mia tütt ti = non sei mica tutto te = you're surely not all (whole) you = there's a piece missing (usually in your head).

Both are ways to say that you're insane and both are coming from the italian dialect spoken here.

Only on a Martin Logan forum would a thread about the epithets other people use to describe us evolve into a discourse on archaic linguistics...

Dialects in Europe are all over the place, in some places more and in some places less. Especially wherever mountains are, where populations never went around, lived for centuries in the same valley and kept on chewing ad infinitum the same language, distorting it with the years, with the decades, you will find wonderful renderings of the original language. As an example, 2 lines from a Davide Van De Sfroos song (Nonna Lucia):

Ociu fiöö che la nona l’è una strìa l’hann veduuda sgarlà nell foech cun’t i mann
Ociu fiöö perché adèss la gula via cun’t un mànegh de scùa in mèzz ai gaamb.

italian translation:

Occhio ragazzi, la nonna è una strega, l'hanno vista scavare nel fuoco con le mani
Occhio ragazzi perchè adesso vola via, con un manico di scopa in mezzo alle gambe.

english translation:

watch out, kids, grandmother is a witch, they saw her dig into the fire with her hands
watch out kids, she's gonna take off, with a broomstick amidst her legs.
