redwood table

I built this table for a local charity (I wish I still had this one) Redwood slab top and small lower shelf. Walnut base. I have a couple of these in the works right now but they are taking me forever to do. To much listening to the Logans I guess.

This one is about 4" tall and has a uniform wall thickness of 1/16", I did one just like at 1/32" but Continental Airlines broke in on the way back from a demo in Houston.

Thanks Burke,
That first one in Buckeye is really quite something. I believe this is one I saw at your house and was able to hold and examine. I hope to attempt turning someday and will look for some pointers.

Thought I would throw up a couple more things I did this summer. First two pics of shelf made of English Yew. This stuff is full of color and hard as a rock. Next two of fence and gate. The handle is made from a branch I found in my yard. (Laceleafe Sumac)

Thanks RoboRob and Risabet. This is why I started this thread. Are you kidding me, both of you, beautiful work. Seems like ML owners are creative and talented in a number of ways.

Keep'em coming folks, big and small, we love to see'em all.:D:D:ROFL:
