What current model compares to ascent?

I'm going to try this out with my vistas this morning. I have 2 MiniDSP PWR-ICE 250 plate amps that (for a start) I'll use to power the woofer sections. A Question: Do I just bypass the woofers' crossover completely (run direct from binding posts to terminals on woofer)?
