I had a Jadis system at one time which included ja 200 amps and a jp 80 mc preamp. The gold will rub off with a cloth and the stuff is unstable and unreliable with no support from the factory. When it worked right, it sounded great, but the build quality is cheap (transformers look like they are painted with shoe polish) and the atmospheric conditions will destroy the microscopically thin gold plating even if you don't touch it if you live in a polluted city. They have no service network in the USA. Stay away from that junk. At least Mac has a service department. With all the great USA audio companies, there is no reason to go overseas especially to France to buy that garbage.
