Theater Room Design Software?

Has anyone used software to design the layout of a theater room? Is there a custom package specifically for this application? Or does one use a home design package? If so which package did you use?

Are you talking about laying out the room to see how it looks (floorplan, etc), or software that models the acoustics in the room?

I've used CARA acoustics modeling on my room. I suppose you could use CAD or the 3D home design software though I haven't tried it for a theater.

Both I guess. I was wondering if there was a program that would do both. I think the room acoustics would be much harder to analyze but it would be nice if something was available. Thanks for the reply.

Have you used Cinema 4d? I took a look at the website and it appears to be a 3d rendering program and not a theater design package as the name would lead one to believe.
