Bernard,

I was reading it on my PDA, walking out of a restaurant. I started laughing, I tripped and Fell Down Laughing......I am still chuckling...

People in the restaurant thought I was nuts.....you know Tom should think about putting a warning on the MLOC site.....especially after Justin has a new post....

***Warning, Reading MLOC Can Cause You to Fall Down Laughing****

Old - a very old girl indeed. But still tasty - very, very tasty.

It'd just be plain rude not to include it in this thread. Heresy, in fact.

And if you don't know what it is... do some homework!:)

What's really nice is that you can set it up for Q-sound by adding two more tone-arms. I think they call it a 4-banger.

Found this on another forum without pedigree. Can anyone identify this very cool KT88/V8 amp?

Bit of research after just finding these. Looks like they where created by a Dutchman (after a smoke or two?:D).

There's 53 excellent quality images of the amps above(ish) being built if you go to the bottom of the home page.

I've made a mess of these posts and edited them a lot - apologies to anyone who has noticed it - must be annoying.

And another couple for good measure, partially showing the Neeper - the best dynamic box speakers I have heard for a long, long time.

More incredibly tasty gear here, for those that missed it the first time round. http://www.martinloganowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7027

Even though I say so myself, that was a thread!:)

6C33C? Forget it. 211/845? Useless. KT88/6550? Rubbish. Move over, drop dead, or simply die, for I am the baddest of all audio tubes. I am the 212E, (or 4212E). I am an Amperex, not the WE version. But I am totally badass. Do you see what I mean?

A group of British audiophiles made a DIY amp using these. The results, apparently, were absolutely gobsmacking, if they were to be believed. I'd probably pay serious £ for a good amp based around these. Building some transformers that would do them justice would be a challenge... and the resulting amps rather large:D

Bit of a "casualty" my tube is bigger than your tube type device, however:D

Just saw this one - that looks frightening! I'd be scared if that was in the same room as me!

Since Transrotor is the order of the day... didn't post one of these pics from you know where...:)

Really wish you guys could see the originals high res versions...
