Where is that room Justin?
Adam, check http://www.avguide.com/blog/high-end-audio-japan-part-four-solid-state-technical-brain which I stumbled on trying to find out how Jason Bloom died in 2003. Apparently, he fell. That's pretty much all I know - maybe I didn't look hard enough

Cool - interesting. In that last picture, those speakers look pretty nice to be wearing a wickedly nasty "Technics" badge!
Curious alright - I don't quite understand how it works?
That outrigger arm changes the cartridge offset so that the stylus is parallel to the groove across the record. So although the arm describes an arc across the record, the cartridge remains parallel to the grooves at all times, in theory.
Somewhat like the Garrard Zero 100? IIRC one of the problems with that arm was the friction due to so many bearings. That outrigger arm changes the cartridge offset so that the stylus is parallel to the groove across the record. I don't if it works (sounds good) or not. I do love the look and concept.
Doug - out
Violin bow tonearms aside, check these out.
No idea what they are, but they are cool. If you know what they are - please post!

If, like the F1 engine, the speakers have 1.5M lbs thrust, the listening session will be very brief indeed.Rocket Nozzles from the Saturn V.
