We closed on the new house last Wednesday, the moving trucks show up tomorrow. All of the IMPORTANT items were moved by hand, things are slowly taking shape.

Front stage: brand spankin' new ESL-9
Center: gently used Theater
Sub: gently used Descent (XLR)
Surround: gently used Fresco
Amp: Bob Carver Cinema Grand Signature 2, 5 channel
Video/SCD/CD/etc: Sony UBP-X1100ES 4k UHD (HDMI video, optical audio)
Turntable: EAT Prelude
Processor: Emotiva XMC-1
Preamp: Emotiva XSP-1
Display: LG OLED55E9PUA (HDMI in, optical audio out)
Connectivity: Netgear 8 port gigabit hub
Streaming: Apple TV 4k, HDMI, wired ethernet
Other: Mac mini, HDMI, wired ethernet
Cabinet: Salamander Designs Oslo 221

The cabinet required assembly, includes a slide out turntable shelf. Turntable came with a "clamp massive" 0.8 kilo puck. Speaker wiring is 12 gauge, in-wall except center, with plenty of slack for the front placement exercise. Cat 6 ethernet runs to the listening room, my office and the upstairs TV location.

More as things evolve. :)

I've got 7,000 pounds of stone in my backyard you can have to fill-in those 2 windows. Then, you can use absorption/diffusion to your liking on the inward facing cavities. Win Win! and Fun Fun!

The stereo used to be the first thing I'd unpack when I moved just so I had tunes to unpack everything else.

Last house we were at for 27 years, and took me about five months before I set up the stereo.

So, you are way ahead of me, congrats.
