A simple stereo system in a flat of the Milano area, Italy.
Speakers: EM ESL
Integrated amp: Primare i21
CD reader: Primare CD21
Signal cables: Mogami 2534
Power cables: Van Den Hul D352 Hybrid
All is located in our living and kitchen room, about 32 sqm (roughly 345 sqft).
The Primare i21 might seem to be too weak but gives 25A current, and rated power still raises at 2 Ohm. For the price paid in 2006 it still offers a relatively fine grain, and good bass extension, energy, and control.
I can say I am satisfied of the result. This combination, when well positioned, starts to offer a little of the magic from the larger static panels I have always heard around.
Anyhow, never say never. Sooner or later I think I will have to replace the amp with something aligned to the class of the EM ESL's.
BTW, I accept any suggestion from you, taking in account that the speakers are at bottom line of ESL.
