Tom, in PSAudio language, "classic" means "not produced anymore". My former HCA-2 is also a member of the classic club.

I've been keeping track of Classic 250s for quite some time. PS Audio sold off their last 2 roughly a year to a year and a half ago. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 show up on the Agon used list in the last year. They go in the $1800 to $2k range. I personally have never heard one, but sure would like to. If this is something you're seriously considering, you might want to watch and/or post a wanted to buy on PS Audio's own forum. Go to www.psaudio.com hit the customer care link at the top of the page and then the PS Audio Discussion Forum link. You'll have to log in and create a user name (no biggie). There's a lot of PS Audio Cool Aid drinkers there
.....including me on occasion (I've also seen posts by zip and Lugano).
