conrad-johnson's ACT 2 for instance... Fro a tubed smooth and mellow sound...

Now, that thing is gorgeous. I am not into tubes just yet, but I must know: how much??

I wish passives were "easy" to integrate into every system

It works so well in my system. Integration is not a problem as long as the ratio of source output impedance to amp input impedance is small. Cable capacitance and hence length should be minimized also.

(I'm a good parrot. I grok some but not all of what I just wrote there.)
