BTW, I ended up putting all the audio stuff I was playing with to the side. I ended up with the Rode Wireless Pro system and it has been perfect for me. The lav mics are good, the internal 32 bit audio recordings are great and bypass my crappy in camera audio preamps.

I'm also moving away from Vegas Video version 18. It's unstable. I'm moving to DaVinci Resolve just because it's more professional and free. But to be fair they sell the studio version for $300 and upgrades are free, so if I like it, I'll buy it.

In typical form, I kept going down the rabbit hole in terms of more audio, more video equipment, more lights, backdrops, etc.. etc..

I even did some testing with Chromakeying, but I haven't used it in a YouTube video yet.

Somehow I managed to break 1,000 subscribers, and could probably earn about $50 a month if I monetized my channel. LOL!
Of course, I've dropped a chunk more into equipment than I initially expected I would. What else is new. Forgetting my time, Maybe I could break even on my equipment in 2-3 years :)

Here's a few photos from my last track day. I picked up a set of bright red CCW rep wheels wrapped in Hoosier R100 racing slicks. If you look very closely you can see I'm wearing a fighter pilot helmet in the photos 😅

looks good Brandon, I just got home from last weekend up at 'The National Park of Speed' aka Road America. Enjoyed the SCCA run offs, great weekend with great weather !

Nice. I'd love to run on those tires. You must haul your car to the track on a trailer? I don't have one. I'm jealous.
I actually drove it to the track on the slicks lol, don't tell the police. They take absolutely forever to get up to temperature so I don't think I'd really recommend them for a track day tire with sessions being 15 minutes or so. I felt they didn't start to really get grippy until the 3rd season. I got a smoking deal on them and the wheeo so I don't care, I'll buy Nittos NT01s again when the time comes.

These were what's left of my NT01s after the last outing, there's no noticable drop in grip even being this worn.

At mid ohio when I go, I see a bunch of people running Hoosiers. Maybe they're using different models? If I remember right, our sessions are more like 20 minutes. One time we had 30 min! 30min was almost too long because I got tired out, lol.

These are R100s and as I understand they're something you'd run on an actual race car competing in Touring car or something. But it's all good because they were really cheap
