Greetings fellow critical listeners, A southern gentleman with a taste for vintage hi-fi requests your knowledge and wisdom.

1. HOW difficult is it to "re-coat" panels on Sequel ii's and is/was there a noticeable sonic difference thereafter???
2. What components of the crossover should be changed and what is the benefit of doing said change?..also, is there any harm in cleaning all components with 90% alcohol as another option?
3. Is the 'shower" thing the Bigfoot of ESL'S or has it ACTUALLY worked?
4. More questions to come as my OCD warms up.....

do some searching.. there is a 3rd party guy who refurbs ML panels cheaper than it is to buy new panels and it's been discussed here before.. Sequel ii is a very old product, so getting the panels refurbed should be a huge improvement. I'd try the shower thing first.. It does indeed work if there's lots of gunk on the panels.. Can't help you on the Xover question.

Cleaning the crossover components will have no impact on sound. Upgrading the components will, but really need schematic and BOM to provide specifics.
