New Item From Escient

I know most people here on this site are purists,
but for the few of you who have their collections ripped to their PC's or have PC based systems. This New product from Escient might be a nice addition.
It hooks directly to your PC and you can even use your Ipod with it.
You'll be able to pull up your music collection from your Tv, by artist, song, genre, or album cover. It's even compatable with the Roku and Sonos systems.

I have an Escient Music server and love the fact that I don't have to get up and down to change CD's and can even create playlists.

Purist? Hmmm.

I'm the lazy focker who told the guy at the hi end audio store that I listen to all my music thru my Squeezebox.

He scoffed even after I told him "don't laugh". LOL!

Hmm. When I mentioned "Squeezebox" at my dealer's last time I visited, he returned "we wondered if we should be looking into this". It is easy to tell: he does not only have an open mind, he can also smell a dollar.

(As in: SB3 plus fancy DAC.)

Purist scoffers don't, on both accounts. Their loss.
