Motion 4 Help

I currently have a friend that purchased the Motion 4's and he was asking me about speaker wire and what I use myself. I recommend a few different brands such as Audioquest, MIT, etc and stated I have mine pre terminated with banana and then spades on the amp end.

I am not currently a ML owner but was planning on getting the Summit X's down the road and notice the Motion 4's don't have a normal 5 way binding post. SO probably a dumb question but is the only thing that is able to be used is bare wire?

I take it you could probably use a pin type connector if you wanted terminated wires from what I saw of them, however not sure.

You are correct....bare wire is A-OK

Actually if one removed the rubber plugs at the end of the post, they will except bananas. Given the price point and the typical user as well often mounted on the wall, the spring loaded recessed posts have been well recieved by the typical user.

I actually liked them. Found them very easy to use.

I had some spare cables around that I was going to let him try out as well but seeing they are pre terminated didn't want to remove anything.

I didn't know the rubber stoppers on the back did come off so I will let him know about that and see again if he wants to try out some of my cables at all.
